Jake is the driving force behind Haven Design & Build, bringing with him over 20 years of industry experience and a passion for blending aesthetics and functionality. Born and raised in Panama, Jake had the unique opportunity and exposure to the magnificent Panama Canal. Spending summers working on the canal, he developed a deep appreciation for engineering marvels and the art of harmonizing form and function. These diverse experiences have shaped Jake's design philosophy, driving his commitment to creating spaces that are not only visually appealing but also practical and timeless.

As the Founder and Principal, Jake leads a talented team of designers, builders, and craftsmen. Together, they collaborate closely with clients to turn visions into reality, creating spaces that inspire and stand the test of time. Jake's team ensures the highest quality in construction and finishes, utilizing their expertise to bring each project to life.

Jake resides in the coastal community of La Jolla, California with his wife and 3 kids. In their downtime, they enjoy spending time together at their local beach and traveling the world.
